Calculator (Humbringer Remix)

Calculator (Hectic Remix)

MissDefiant release 3-track single Calculator featuring remixes by Humbringer and Hectic on October 7th 2016.

Fresh from supporting LMFAO’s Redfoo at Koko in Camden, MissDefiant release 3 track single Calculator. Calculator is a fun take on 21st century relationships. "It's not difficult, you need a calculator?" The MissDefiant girls show a distinct sense of irony by interplaying the modern peculiarities of relationships with the antiquated calculator. The London duo live up to their reputation of “heating up the music scene” with their “raw and electric sound”. This is an exciting release for the girls ahead of their debut album, coming later in 2016.

The release features the Humbringer Remix, crafted by Mike Tournier, who produced the original single. It provides a lounge-y, stripped back version of the track. The fast paced electronic energy of the other two singles is replaced with a chilled, melodic vibe that shows off the developing acoustic side to MissDefiant.

The release also features a remix by Hectic, a prolific producer and remixer from London, UK with over 500K Soundcloud followers. This harder club mix of the track opens the release up to the international club scene.
